The Harrington cabin, across the street from the post office, is also simple. Charlie Erickson built the 14-foot-by-18-foot cabin for Stanton Shafer on the Harrington homestead; it was moved to its present site in 1975. The horizontal round logs are square notched at the corners and covered with corner boards. The side-gable roof is covered with wood shingles, and there is a shed-roofed porch and boardwalk.
