Louisville History Museum (Jacoe Store)
In contrast with the large company store, this 830-square-foot frame emporium on a side street needed a false front to make it plausible and a side extension to increase the stockroom. Eliseo Jacoe, who rented the store, made it a gathering spot for Louisville's sizable Italian community.
