A square corner bell tower entry dominates this unusual white frame church. Six classical columns support the bell-shaped roof over the exposed bell. A brick chimney pokes through the gabled roof beside the tower, which dominates this small town. The well-preserved church, which has elegant double-hung stained glass windows in Gothic-arched moldings, was designed and built by a member of the congregation. Since the site donated for the church is on a hillside, a long wooden staircase (1899) was built to provide a Main Street connection.
