This Neo-Romanesque country chapel of local stone has a Tuscan red tile roof, open bell tower, and round-arched openings. Uncut, uncoursed red sandstone, from nearby Pyramid Mountain, forms the walls while uncoursed ashlar from another quarry is used for the arches, buttresses, and corners. Hidden amid ponderosa pines on the much-advertised road to Santa's Workshop, it is a memorial to Thomas and Mary Green Cusack. Cusack, who made a fortune by erecting billboards in Chicago, bought extensive summer home property in the picturesque mountain resort of Cascade. The chapel contains glass and bronze stations of the cross and Carrara marble statues.
