This well-maintained example of a round log barn has been reborn as a museum. The two-story, gable-roofed building has a gabled vent in the center of the roof ridge and a faded “LIVERY” sign on the front. One block west, at 3rd Street and U.S. 40, a similar barn has been dressed up with a curvilinear parapet and pressed metal siding to become the Mt. Wolford Masonic Temple, an example of how refined a barn can become.
