This two-room school with a flagpole atop its open belfry is made of hand-hewn blocks of sandstone from nearby Stone Quarry Creek. The same stone forms a 1907 rear addition. This schoolhouse and community center was used for meetings, weddings, potlucks, rallies, and funerals. The school closed in 1957 but was restored in 1983.
