William Parry, a Welsh miner who helped found the town of Marble, built his front-gabled, one-and-one-half-story house on a stone foundation. It is sheathed in board-and-batten siding and has decorative shingles and bargeboard and a full-width porch. Scattered outbuildings are connected by wooden sidewalks.
