Saco DeBoer, Colorado's premier landscape architect, planned this 80-acre “Park for Happy Homes” with curvilinear streets. This “residence park,” with a community center and park, attracted middle-class residents whose preferences did not run to the fanciful English country mansions and cottages that promoter Glen Creighton fancied.
