The September 1977 Architectural Record praised this joint design of Harry Weese, T. C. Enradi, Robert Geddes, William Le Messurier, Sheelhe and Gebharts, and landscape architect Hubertus J. Mittman for its “low, wide feel” and for “occupying the site sparingly” yet “as splendidly as a Greek temple.” The machine age building of glass and aluminum makes no concessions to natural materials or shapes. A skyscraper lying on its side in a spectacular natural foothills setting, it is now a part of the Martin Marietta complex.
