A former blacksmith shop turned neighborhood bar with a venerable shuffleboard table, this small, two-story gray brick building is full of old-timers and folklore. Following a typical pattern, the blacksmith shop evolved into an auto repair garage during the 1920s. After the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, when it became a tavern, the outdoor stairs were moved indoors and the chimney was removed.
