This two-story Italianate commercial building reemerged in the 1980s from behind a modern metal screen to rejoin its Victorian neighbors. One of Colorado's first brewpubs, Coppersmiths, reigns behind the restored facade of former storefronts. Besides considerable interior remodeling to accommodate the brewing apparatus, there are a new side entrance of terne roofing and glass and a rear elevation which includes a beer garden on the pedestrian mall.
