Tucked into an evergreen forest on the north slope of Twin Sisters Peak, this three-story, hand-hewn lodge is a rustic relic. Named for the then popular mystery novel, Seven Keys to Baldpate, it boasts “the world's largest key collection.” Third-story dormers and exposed rafter ends cap the second-story balcony, which has been enclosed to enlarge second-floor guest rooms. Rustic furnishing and the uneven, creaking floors add to the charm.
