On St. Valentine's Day customers flock here for a Loveland postmark for their Valentine messages. Over the entry of this starved-classical box of gold-speckled brick with sandstone trim, a bas-relief locomotive, plane, and ship speed the mail to its destination. Inside, a 1938 WPA mural by Russell Sherman, Industries around Loveland, portrays farmers working wheat and sugar beet fields and the local sugar beet refinery.
