Bank of Ridgway

This typical two-story commercial brick structure with rough red sandstone trim, cornice, and parapet was erected by Amos Walther after he bought the bank that Otto Mears, Frederick Walsen, and other town founders launched in 1891. Over the years it has housed the post office and the Ridgway Pharmacy, the telephone company, and numerous offices and businesses. It was restored and refurnished in 1991 for retail use.
