The Elk Valley 4-H Club restored this one-room, lap-sided schoolhouse on a stone foundation with a Tuscan-columned front porch under a simple shed roof. The metal roof is crowned by an open cupola astride the ridge above the door. At the opposite end of the ridge, a square brick chimney completes the traditional form.
