This barnlike clapboard hall with sheet metal roofing was transplanted from the dammed and drowned town of Dillon. The false frame front and second-story pedimented windows do not redeem this ram-shackle deportee with its many liquor signs and shed additions. The shell, which once housed Jim Ryan's Saloon, still draws locals fond of the cheap food and beverages, as well as the nostalgic ambiance flowing from a splendid old back bar. Next door is a similar transplant, the Old Dillon Inn (1880s), also a large frame false-fronted bar and restaurant.
