A rare example of a temple-front Greek Revival structure in southern Delaware, the elegant, white frame house was built for Charles Wright, tradesman and shipper of Seaford. Behind the four square columns that support the pediment, floor-length windows light the front parlor. A small north wing contained an office, whereas the south led to the kitchen and dining room in the service wing. When surveyed in 1977, the interior contained a remarkable array of period locks and other hardware. The whole complex was then in excellent condition, but by early in the twenty-first century, it was abandoned and facing possible demolition.
