This two-story, shiplap-sided recreational building is one of the most prominent structures fronting the green. Its projecting, enclosed entrance lanai with a bracketed gable adds to the gym's commanding presence. The interior with tongue-and-groove walls and trussed ceiling remains relatively intact. Built-in, elevated bleachers overlook the basketball court on one side, and a raised stage dominates the other. Second-story vents and a screened clerestory provide natural ventilation.
