Nestled in the bend of Kamehameha Highway, this above-average modern school building is in a contemporary Hawaiian style. The building consists of four pavilions, each with its own sheltering, double-pitched hipped roof, joined together to frame a rectangular, pergola-covered courtyard. The four pavilions connect in a staggered manner and are penetrated by gated walkways, countering any boxy exterior appearance. A combination of rusticated and stuccoed concrete-block walls provides texture, while banks of multipane awning windows give definition to the facade.
