A large church auditorium seemed to be the first concern of the architect of this building. Having established this, he then proceeded to enrich the design, inside and especially outside. He articulated the roof by projecting gables into its two street elevations. At the corner he placed a wide octagonal bay; and at the peak of the roof, a small octagonal tower displays large “Gothic” windows.
