The Romanesque, Queen Anne, and Colonial Revival styles are all imaginatively brought together here, but in such a manner as to read as a “normal” brick house of the 1890s. The two-story corner bay, instead of having a tower, stops at the roofline and is surmounted by a Colonial Revival balustrade. Arched openings pierce the third-floor gable ends, but below, the columned entrance porch is pure Colonial Revival. The house still retains its one-and-a-half-story carriage house to the rear.
