Collins House (now Faculty House)

now Faculty House
1889. Cornell College campus, off W. 1st St.

The architect of this turn-of-the-century Colonial Revival house put the emphasis on the repeated motif of the Palladian window: an eminent-sized one dominates the entrances below, while to the side, smaller ones occur on the first floor. All in all, this is a vigorous and original design.
