The sense of kinship of the designs here reminds one of the several schools and industrial buildings constructed around Chicago in the teens. The composition is classical Beaux-Arts; there is a dominant central three-story entrance pavilion, and then a balanced pavilion on each side. There is Prairie-style detailing within each of the pavilions. Each exhibits a central motif of engaged piers terminating in a flat projecting roof.
