Grandview Avenue possesses a number of well-designed period revival houses of the 1920s and 1930s. The one-and-a-half-story McCoy house is French, more “Provincial” than Norman. Dark-colored brick is used as an accent against the background of light-tan brick walls. The composition of the roof is particularly successful: it works down from the higher wall-dormer section to the left, to the gabled dormer above the entrance; finally the hipped roof is brought down to and terminated by the large chimney.
