A loose, easy-going example of the Colonial Revival of the teens, this two-and-a-half-story dwelling has parapeted gable ends; it has a gambrel roof, and its three front dormers also have gambrel roofs. The entrance hall is lighted by a broad fanlight together with side lights; along one side is an extensive living porch. The white shutters (bearing a cut-out moon pattern) and trim contrast with the dark stained shingle walls.
