A low stone wall and the terrace behind provide a platform for this large Queen Anne/Colonial Revival dwelling. The lower walls of the house are of brick; there is a more tactile surface of small stones above. The roof towers and dormers are highly picturesque, especially the corner bay tower with its third-floor wall that slopes inward.
