The low profile of this Gothic Revival church makes it appear as a distant object in relationship to its large corner tower. The tower asserts its presence not only by its size, but by a richness in the stone detailing which contrasts with the surrounding brick surfaces. The quoining, the surrounds of the pointed arched windows (and belfry), and the cornice are all rendered in light-colored stone.
