A two-story turn-of-the-century Colonial Revival box, the Curtin house successfully plays the game between classical symmetry and the irregularity of the picturesque Queen Anne. The porch with its columned, pedimented entrances is countered by off-center bay windows and a third-floor gable with a barely suggested small circular balcony. Light classical garlands decorate the entablature of the porch, and the broadly overhanging roofs are supported by narrow brackets.
