The depot's abbreviated Richardsonian Romanesque design centers on a stocky central tower. Brick walls with stone trim have been set on a slightly projecting rusticated masonry base. Overscaled lunette windows in the second floor of the central tower provided light for the principal passenger waiting area below. This station, like so many others around the country, is presently unused, but one hopes it will be restored for some sort of adaptive reuse.
