A severe but impressive three-story brick building has been realized within the Prairie school idiom. Two pavilions protrude slightly from the ends of the building. A set of two thin piers, placed in the center of each of these pavilions, rises to the cornice where there is a suggestion of a gable. A light-colored smooth stone band provides a base for the building, and another band is repeated at the top of the structure.
