Saint Patrick's is a church with a gable roof and is sheathed in somber cut gray stone. It is situated within the small community of Georgetown. The sanctuary is Gothic Revival in image, but the accompanying tower seems more Italian Romanesque than Gothic. The corner and the wall buttresses are rendered in square-cut stone, whereas the masonry walls were constructed on a more random pattern. The siting in the open, cultivated rolling prairie is romantic and compelling.
