Though the roof is steeply pitched, the sidehall scheme and the detailing of this one-and-a-half-story clapboard cottage are late Federal. Extremely narrow side lights at the entrance are played off against a wide transom. Centered above the first-floor entrance is a door, indicating that a porch was planned for the second floor.
