The domed roof of this commodious Queen Anne-style house is shaped like a gigantic bell that seems to float in space. A somewhat Châteauesque French dormer (very small in scale) projects from the roof, and next to the bay tower is a chimney. The placement of all the windows is quite controlled; they are arranged within pairs of horizontal bands. The roof ridge still retains its lacy metal cresting.
