Constellation Wharf (Pier 7)

Framed by boat-filled marinas, Constellation Wharf provides an alternative to the brick industrial buildings of the former Boston Naval Shipyard. Gray, wooden condominium town houses flank the central passage of the pier with parking provided at the bottom level. Trapezoidal plans for all the buildings insure panoramic views of the Boston skyline and harbor from the projecting and receding balconies and terraces. Nautical detailing, such as bollards, flag poles, and canvas-stretched railings, connects the complex to the pleasure-boating activities of the harbor.
