Constructed of concrete block and of brick salvaged from the previous temple on the site, which was a converted Methodist church, this temple has a folded plate roof with triangular clerestory windows and is capped by a metal cupola supporting a Star of David, a shape that inspired the building’s hexagonal plan. Flat-roofed entrances and support spaces wrap the sanctuary to the sides and rear.
