Descending to the Little Missouri River from the south, a roadside pullout has been developed using local stonework with plaques to interpret the vast Badlands landscape unfolding across the river to the north. The original CCC camp that constructed many of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park features was located just south and west of the continuous three-span, gusseted Warren through-truss bridge. The bridge is strengthened and subdivided with intermittent vertical tension rods tied to the bridge’s deck. The bridge corresponds with the site of the Reynolds Brothers Long X longhorn ranch, marking the northern end of the western cattle trail.
