The summer home of Frederick Snyder, the first superintendent of the Stewart Indian School in Carson City, this building resembles many of the school's structures designed by Snyder. The T-shaped house has randomly laid walls of multicolored stone with dark gray mortar joints, metal casement windows, and woodsided gable ends. James and John Christopher, stonemasons for the Stewart Indian School, constructed this dwelling, as well as two other houses in this subdivision in the same style (723 Cedar Street and 716 Lincoln Highway).
