The simple wood-frame house features a large porch supported by twelve Tuscan columns. The round columns replaced square posts sometime after 1910. The house has grown over the years; the family erected a two-story addition at the rear containing a bedroom and a new kitchen, including a pantry and dining room for the ranch hands. Around 1915–1916 DeLongchamps designed a living room built of brick at the south side of the house.
