These large triple-arched magazines, 167 in all, were designed to store highly explosive ammunition. Each arch section measures approximately 25 by 80 feet. As is true of the other magazines at the depot, earth covers the roof and three sides of the structure; reinforced concrete facades face a long concrete loading dock. A pair of doors pierces the facade of each section.
