Home of the Thunderbirds, the Air Force's aerobatic flight team, the 160-foot-by-200-foot hangar has a red, white, and blue exterior, distinguishing it from the other hangars on the base. A steel Warren truss system, clad in metal panels, supports the structure. The gable ends consist of ten sliding-door sections, each glazed with multipane metal sashes. The Thunderbirds have used the hangar since 1986.
