This aluminum geodesic dome anchored by a steel continuous ring and attached to raked concrete block walls and concrete piers is the school's gymnasium. The entrance facing the campus is a rectangular glass box. The interior has an apex of 65 feet and maximizes its nearly 32,000 square feet of usable space with a minimum of materials. The clear span of 232 feet is suitable for basketball games and large gatherings. Although there are more than 200,000 geodesic dome structures around the world, this is one of the few modern buildings of this scale built in Beaver County in the 1970s.
