West 3rd Avenue Houses

Houses designed by Albert Joseph Bodker (1875–1926) of New York City and Edward A. Phillips of Warren bracket some handsome American foursquare residences on this block of W. 3rd Avenue. They date from the turn of the twentieth century to the 1920s. From the Tudor Revival of the Bodker-designed house at 500 W. 3rd Avenue and the cottage style of 504 W. 3rd to the massive square outlines of the other houses, these houses indicate the high level of architectural sophistication in Warren.
