Built by Henry Bull in 1765 in what was then Racoon Valley, this three-story stone gristmill on PA 17 is the oldest in Perry County. After Michael Donnally purchased the mill from Bull in 1840, the hamlet was known as Donnally Mills. According to Perry County historian H. H. Hain, the mill remained in the family and was owned by L. E. Donnally in 1922.
