This delightful, diminutive building is distinguished by the boldly ornamented enframement of all openings. Flat table hoods on brackets cap the ground-story windows; gable pediments with scroll-cut stenciling decorate those in the steep mansard. Especially inventive are the bracketed door hoods with unusual diamond-shaped panels, also displaying sawn decoration, which are fitted under the peaks of the hoods on the front, and were echoed in glazed diamond-shaped windows (now infilled) behind.
