Although much altered, the Almy farmhouse, outbuildings, and stone walls give a sense of the smaller farm complex evolving out of the late eighteenth century, just as the Durfee Farm provides an image of more prosperity, even though neither now operates as a farm. Continue a little farther on Seaponet to see a beautiful marsh landscape.
