Boerne Public Library (Joseph Dienger Building)
Built as a store with a residence above, the building combines local limestone with an ornate two-story wooden porch that wraps around both street fronts. The rock-faced limestone blocks have an austere character, with only the shawl-like window lintels projecting from the wall plane. The building was converted to a library in 1980.
