Built by a member of the group of Polish settlers who arrived in 1855, this house is the sole survivor of the houses constructed in Bandera by them. The two-story stuccoed limestone house is believed to have been built by a mason from Castroville. The house features a two-story porch across its main facade, with the upper level shaded by an extension of the roofline. Both floors consist of two square rooms separated by a wide central hall, which has an unadorned staircase. The later frame shed addition at the rear is also divided by the hallway.
