From the 1920s through the 1940s, Rodríguez created fanciful landscape elements around the park from concrete molded to look like wood. Benches and bridges appear to be rustic constructions of bark covered with logs and branches. Even more extraordinary is his pedestrian bridge, in which Rodríguez created a rustic arbor out of concrete.
