In one of the first houses built in the Morningside Park subdivision, Voelcker and Dixon incorporated soft orange brick, red barrel-tile hipped roofs, and bracketed soffits in this classic Mediterranean villa–styled house. The street front emphasizes the formal entrance, a triple-arched loggia of Ionic columns and arches in white terra-cotta that contrasts with the warm-toned brick.
