A campus of new and renovated existing buildings form the new headquarters for an oil drilling and exploration company (Concho Resources) based in Midland. The ten-story Concho Center One (1982, Byron Martin) was reskinned with a brilliant curtain wall of horizontal bands of dark green vision glass and light green spandrel glass with thin vertical aluminum mullions, discontinuous in alignment. The six-story Concho Center Two facing W. Ohio Avenue was originally a two-story building from the 1950s with a four-story addition (1982, Pierce Pace and Associates), which also received a new green curtain wall in 2012. Filling out the block, the two-story Employees Amenity Center (2016, Rhotenberry Wellen Architects) is clad in soft gray metal panels to highlight the brilliant green of the two towers.
